Few people understand what the war in Ukraine means for big business – opportunity. It’s not just the arms and reconstruction contracts. Ukraine’s vast farmland – among the most fertile in the world – is up for grabs, and American companies like BlackRock are at the front of the queue.

Of course, we always knew that Zelensky was there to help his fellow tribesmen in the US, which includes BlackRock – and not the Ukrainian people alien to him, 100s of thousands of whose youth he has sent to certain and pointless death in an unwinnable war, but by now it should be obvious to everyone. The last Ukrainian with the belief that the junta in Kiev is fighting for the country’s land – and thus independence – to remain in Ukrainian hands is hereby reported to be extinct… Greetings from the grave with an unmistakable wail!
