Normally, there are always two sides to every story, but this clearly does not apply to the war in Ukraine. Since the war began, the Western mass media has been awash with anti-Russian emotional pornography, with Putin alternately being likened to Hitler or Stalin. The desired effect on ordinary people is, of course, not lost, and people’s blind hatred would make Goebbels green with envy. In this heated climate, it can be useful to listen to someone who actually knows something about the conflict between Russia and the West.
